Listening to Robbin Thompson brings back some great memories. I can't wait to replace my vinyl copy of "Two B's Please" with a CD. If you get the band back together next year you can bet I'll make sure to catch you with the rest of the gang(the kids can listen to some real music).

Nice website. It was fun to read all of the comments on your guestbook. I have many great memories of shows at The Attic in Greenville, NC way back in the late 70's. We would get in line at about 5:00 pm and party until the doors opened. When we got in, it was ALWAYS a great show. I must have played Two B's five thousand times! Man, those were such fun times, thanks for being a part of them Robbin. A part of them, hell man most nights you were the friggin' master of ceremonies. I look forward to getting One Step Ahead of the Blues.

Your music was a big part of the good times back in the early 80's. From VA Beach to VA Tech we saw you live dozens of times. It's good to see you're still putting out the tunes. Thanks. We'll be sure to see you at Starr Hill.

Two BB's- Just a quick note to tell you that I am hearing nothing but good things about the new album. Will try to see you again when you come to Roanoke next. I was reminising with an old VCU roomate about those great days when the advertising department was located at 1617 Monument and working on "the annual competition" with Looney, Callahan, et al. Keep up the great music! Keith Hummer

Any "Mercy Flight" fans out here? There's a book out containing new interviews with Robbin Thompson, Tom Yolton and David Hazlett of Mercy Flight and their relationship with Bruce Springsteen's band, "Steel Mill". The book is called "Beyond The Palace" and it contains over 40 features and interviews with artists from the Jersey Shore and over 70 rare and never before seen photos. It's a great collector's item for anyone that remembers such classic shows as the 7th Marshall Street Parking Deck Show in Richmond. For more information visit http://www.asburymusic.com

Just bought your 'Vinyl Years' CD (not received yet). I was so glad to see 'Dream River' on it...That was one song from you I was missing on CD! I also bought One Step Ahead of the Blues at The Galley Restaurant just this past week-end. I have been enjoying it all week. I am a very big fan. I wasn't even disappointed at missing the Springsteen concert until I found out you had been on stage. Thanks for the great music!

I would buy a cd with nothing but "Brite Eyes" on it. Love the cut. Used to listen to it back in early 80's when I was in the Navy on the USS America. Brings back some memories. Va Beach was happening back then. Lots of good times. Anyway, thanks for creating a truly great song and sound.
