Just received my copy of "One Step Ahead Of The Blues". This is a terrific CD! BTW, to answer your question, the cover art is a fine choice. I'd suggest you choose another local artist to paint the cover of your next recording...which we expect, say, NEXT year!! ;)

Yo, Robbin! Given all of your great credits, I think that it is a testiment to your humility that you have never mentioned that in 1972 you sang backup on the almost outstanding, potentially chart busting, non-release by Darryl Groove and the Acetones, better known as the 'Songs That We Know All the Words To' tapes. I can only imagine the chaos that might ensue if, in fact, your audiences knew that it was your golden throat that laughed out the opening to our widely ignored, yet seminal, recording of 'Wipeout'. If only Darryl hadn't thrown up on the master tapes.... Cheers, and keep up the good work. See you in the Fan sometime. Vince (Bill Burdette) Binetti Drums

Love the website. Mine will be up soon. It's called HaveScripts.com and is the online catalog of the Tidewater Dramatists Guild, a playwright's cooperative founded by myself, and Jean Kline back in 1976. We will offer member's scripts for sale to a limited market. Hope to see you soon. Kathi

I heard your interview on the Coast the other day and your music. The new music sounds as good as "Two B's". I thought it was a great interview. The coast does a great job with local artist's. Virginia has a great number of outstanding singers and song writers to call her own. You have definatly done your home town justice and helped keep Virginia alive in the music department. Thanks for your continued talent with the tunes. Rock on!

Robbin....It was great seeing you on stage this past Thurs with the boss!!. I remember when you played a gig in Blacksburg in the early 80's. You had your Light Blue Satin tour jacket stolen and I got it back for you. You even came buy my room in Lee Hall to get it. I just ordered 2 B's on CD and your current release. My friends who love Bruce to death were amazed to hear that you had sang with him in the early days. I am curious, are there any Steel Mill tracks available? Anyway...best wishes and stay cool.

What a GREAT jam with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and Bruce Hornsby! I was there at the Richmond Coliseum Thursday night March 6, 2003, right behind the Mighty Max, three rows deep. You guys sounded INCREDIBLE! Now I have another unique Springsteen concert memory to cherish, like the time I saw Bruce sing Roy Orbison's "Cryin'" to wrap up a sound check at the Shoreline Ampitheater. Hank Ballard's "Let's Go Let's Go Let's Go" in that incredible harmony you guys were doing! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Robbin, you look a lot younger than your resume dates you, and you came across onstage as a charming combination of awestruck and happily comfortable at the same time. I hope you had as much fun singing with The Boss as I had singing along with you from the crowd. Heck Robbin, if you ever need crew for that handsome sloop of yours (those dark hulls are always so impressive), shoot me an e-mail--I can tail a winch with the best of 'em. ;-) Two s's and two l's, --Russ

I used to always make the front row at Peabodys in Va. Beach in from 1978-1982. Glad to hear you have re-released 2 B's. I called you many years ago and you indicated it would never be released. I go to NC quite often, hope to make another concert. This would be about my 40th, from Virginia down to Florida. Keep makin music.
