I have always loved your music. I am looking for a CD copy of your self-titled album ('Robbin Thompson') from late 70's. I have a CD of 'Two B's Please' and 'Out On The Chesapeake'. I hope to complete my collection. I've searched everywhere I can think of for MP3 copies of your songs and they are just not available or I haven't looked in the right place. Keep up the great work Robbin! |

Wow, cool to see this site! I used to DJ here in Raleigh for a number of years & had looked everywhere for a copy of "Brite Eyes". Glad to see you are still around, saw you play back in '80. Brite Eyes & Candy Apple Red are true classics!! Take Care,

Robbin . . . the show at the Six-String tonight was phenomenal. Enjoyed talking with you again. For all you fans out there . . . Robbin is better than ever. His acoustic set in Raleigh tonight brought the house down. A wonderful selection of old and new, ranging from the first album ('76) all the way through the forthcoming CD, "One Step Ahead of the Blues." Robbin's encore even included "Let It All Out." Dig that! Thanks Robbin, and keep on rockin' . . . |

Robbin, I finally got off my okole and ordered "Together" from Steve Bassett -- it came today, and I'm really looking forward to popping it into my CD player. Thanks for the contact information on him.
But what I really want to know is when you're gonna release "Robbin Thompson" (the one where your cover photo was taken in Broad Street Station back before it became the Science Museum of Virginia). I'd love to be able to add that to my CD copies of "Two B's, Please" and "Out on the Chesapeake." I know many other fans have asked you to re-release it as well, and I hope we'll get out wish sometime soon.
By the way, this is a new e-mail address for me -- you can erase the old aol.com suffix e-mail from your database. Thanks!
Aloha,
Chuck |

Just voted for "Sweet Virgina Breeze" as the state song of Virginia. Hope they take out-of-state votes! It would be the only state song I know all the words to.

Great show last Friday. Cindy and I throughly enjoyed Rikki's company at dinner and your performance was an incredible ending to the evening. I think Ben and Rikki enjoyed their last evening before heading off to school. I wanted to tell you and Vicki that you can be proud of the way you have raised Rikki. She's a fine individual and is always welcome at our home. Thanks again for the great evening and we look forward to your next performance.

Robbin - I really enjoyed you and your gift of music Friday night. The "In the Living Room" concept really worked well. Robbin,
My finacee', Vanessa Elam and I are big fans. We grew up in Richmond in the 70's and really liked your music. Our fist date was about a year and a half ago. We went to Poe's pub, and there you were with the old gang celebrating the drummers birthday. It was priceless.
The next weekend, we went to the North Pole.
We also went to Glen Allen School to see you friday night. What a great show. We loved the version of Procul Harem's Whiter Shade of Pale. I got your CD and its even better in the recorded version with the strings. I liked it so much that I pulled out my axe and tried to learn the fingering and the chords and we are going to get Vanessa's daughter to learn the strings for the viola. Do you have the music for that?
I work at U of R in Executive Education. We do some training for some of the big agencies. How is "In your ear doing"? Have't heard much lately but I imagine a passion for sailing is better than a good day at the office.
We are avid skiers/snowboarders. Both of us are instructors at Massanutten and have a house just off the slopes. If it's too windy or cold at the bay this winter or your kids get the inkling, just drop us a line. We'd love to hook you up for a winter weekend.
Enjoy and God bless you.
Colin Steele and Vanessa Elam

Hi Robbin,
I've been a fan of yours for a long time! Many years ago, I used to go hear you play with Big City and thought you were fantastic! Actually my husband and I ran into you in the Atlanta airport back in March of 1992 when we were on our honeymoon. We are coming to hear you Friday night in Glen Allen and very much looking forward to the show. Please add me to your mailing list for show updates.
Keep up the great music!

What can I say my wife and I were two of the lucky one's who actually got to sit on stage in Robbin's living room that night at the American Theater. In the the past when I would listen to his Music I would close my eyes and let Robbin take me back, but that night seeing the strength and energy he puts into his music was something special. Thanks Robbin. |

I have loved "Sweet Virginia Breeze" since I was a student at William & Mary. Is there an album I can find it on, or can you post it on Limewire. I HAVE to have that song in my library! Thank God for the internet so I could find you. I am a native Virginian, but also a proud New Yorker. Rock on USA!
